What a wonderful display we had on November 4th.
An ideal evening weather-wise ensured a good turn out for our annual event, which gets better and better, year by year.
Whilst for most people the occasion meant simply turning up for the bonfire, watching the fireworks, putting money in the buckets then either continuing the evening in the Hall or simply departing, for others it was a culmination of much hard work and planning.
So our congratulations and thanks to everyone who helped construct the bonfire and keep it safe before the day, kept an eye on it during the evening and overnight, collected set up and let off the fireworks, went round with the collection buckets, prepared cooked and served the BBQ, set up the disco, provided entertainment for all the families in the Hall and to those who worked behind the bars.
Thank you also to everyone who turned up and enjoyed the evening and put £680 into the buckets. This money will go towards next years fireworks display.
